Case Studies Japan supports travel to Japan for faculty members and graduate students so they may conduct field research in various disciplines of the humanities and social sciences. The objective is to provide participants, especially those who may not be familiar with Japan, with firsthand experiences to gain a deeper understanding of and make connections in Japan that will be useful in their own disciplines after the trip.
