The National Institutes of Health Undergraduate Scholarship Program offers competitive scholarships to students who are committed to careers in behavioral, social science , or biomedical health-related research. They will pay up to $20,000 per academic year in tuition, educational expenses, and reasonable living expenses to recipients. Scholarships are awarded for 1 year, and can be renewed for up to 4 years. Applicants must be a US citizen or permanent resident, enrolled/accepted for enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited 4-year undergraduate institution located in the US, have a GPA of 3.3+, and have ‘Exceptional Financial Need’ as certified by their undergraduate institution’s financial aid office. The application deadline occurs in April.
