Source: Embassy of Spain

The Embassy of Spain invites US Citizens age 18-60 who are native speakers of English with at least a sophomore standing (or hold an AA degree) to partner with elementary and secondary schools in Spain to bolster language programs as language assistants (under the supervision and guidance of teachers in Spain). Placements are offered across the country. Most assignments run from October 1-May 31. Depending on the assigned region, language assistants receive a monthly stipend of 700 to 1000 euros and medical insurance. Hours of assistant teaching range from 12-16 hours per week, depending on the assignment awarded. Opportunities for English-speaking Canadian citizens, too.
