It is a nonpartisan program devoted to promoting and encouraging diversity and inclusion on Capitol Hill. Fellows have the opportunity to work as a full-time staffer for 9 months, conducting tasks such as research, meeting with special interest groups, drafting bills/speeches, and preparing the Member for hearings, etc.
Fellows receive a salary of $30,000 for housing and other expenses for the 9-month fellowship, as well as roundtrip Airfare to DC, health insurance reimbursement, and other benefits.
Candidates must be a Muslim US Citizen/permanent resident/DACA recipient with a proven commitment to public service.
